Frequently Asked Questions

  • What is slow fashion?

“Slow fashion” is our response to the “fast fashion” issue that’s taken over the globe. Disposable clothing fits poorly, fills up landfills, and falls apart easily. Additionally, fast fashion is usually made using exploitative labor conditions in developing countries, making it unethical to purchase. At Auralie, our high-end clothing is built to last and is made with safe, ethical labor. You will get much more for your money by choosing slow fashion.

  • How do you choose independent designers?

It’s important that our designers do not chase trends, but seek a timeless appeal that will not fade in a few months. Our brands are selected through a meticulous process, and we value designers who uphold traditional and timeless approaches to their craft.

  • What’s the story behind Auralie?

Auralie was founded on the notion that style can be the first transformation that aligns our innermost aspirations with the outside world. The founder, Tessa Aurelia Jennifer, became fascinated with the way clothing helps express our authentic self and was inspired to invite others to collect clothing that enhances you, rather than change you.
